Thanks to Kershaw’s meticulous manufacturing process and our precision fit-and-finish standards, the blade glides out smoothly and locks into place with a satisfying "snick." The drop-point blade provides tip strength and cutting versatility. The 8Cr13MoV blade steel offers excellent hardness and wear resistance. And we heat treat the steel to bring out its highest performance characteristics.

For safe use, the Black Vapor III’s sturdy frame lock ensures a secure blade lock up, yet releases and closes easily. With a little practice, you’ll be able to open and close your manual black Vapor III one-handed. And you’ll look awesome doing it.
