The discontinued RJI sneaks its way into the EDC publication.
Everyday Carry recently reflected on the most popular gear of 2018. Curiously, it wasn't a current Kershaw that appeared on the list. Instead, the RJI made a cameo alongside the Zebra F-701 ballpoint pen.
Released in 2012, this SpeedSafe® assisted knife features a hard-working tanto blade with a partially serrated edge. RJ Martin and Kershaw created a knife that's more than capable of most cutting tasks. Plus, it includes 3D-machined G-10 handles, offering an excellent grip.
Although the knife was discontinued in 2015, it can still be found on the secondary market. If you're looking for a trusty working companion today, the RJI is still a solid option. And remember, even discontinued Kershaws are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
